The homeowners wanted to elevate their indoor and outdoor living experience while maximizing the use of existing spaces. The original layout offered limited entertaining space and lacked a fluid connection between the indoor and outdoor areas. They also sought to create a private outdoor retreat off the master suite. The challenge was to integrate these new features in a way that complemented the historic character of the home and supported year-round use.
Omni Building Group approached the renovation with a focus on seamless indoor-outdoor living. A 72-square-foot outdoor patio was constructed with custom stonework and elegant ceramic tile flooring. The existing garage was converted into a 118-square-foot indoor bar and entertainment space, complete with a fully integrated custom bar, built-in shelving, and a wall-mounted entertainment system—ideal for hosting guests. A premium Andersen folding door system was installed to open up the home to the outdoors and create a natural flow between the new spaces. To enhance privacy and luxury, a 120-square-foot covered patio was added off the master bedroom, featuring a cable railing system, a ceiling fan, and a cozy seating area.
Omni Building Group recently completed a custom home renovation and outdoor living space transformation at 181 N. Clinton St in the historic borough of Doylestown, located in the heart of Bucks County, PA. The project included a new outdoor patio, the conversion of an existing garage into an indoor bar and entertainment area, a redesigned dining room, and the addition of a private covered patio off the second-floor master bedroom. With high-end finishes and thoughtful design, this renovation enhanced both the functionality and enjoyment of the home—inside and out.
